LEARN MORE ABOUT NOAD MODEHelp protect user data and support compliance
DEM applies security‑hardened policies at logon and during session refresh, using user, device, and session context to help enforce post‑authentication controls on desktops and apps.
Help enforce granular policy control
DEM evaluates conditions (such as group membership, device type, network, and VDI/RDSH/local session) and applies the matching rules through FlexEngine at user logon or trigger‑based refresh. This helps IT control application behavior (for example, clipboard/USB/printer mapping), device redirection, and environment settings with precise scope.
Application and folder redirection controls
Redirect selected profile folders to enterprise file shares so user data persists across sessions and is less exposed on local machines. Administrators select which folders are redirected and can pair this with profile archives to support recovery and consistent experiences.
Policy scope, precedence, and maintenance
Policies can target individual users or groups and be layered with other Windows and Horizon controls. Configuration resides in central shares, which simplifies updates and versioning as environments scale.
Operational visibility
DEM writes events that help IT verify policy application and troubleshoot user sessions. Pairing these logs with your existing monitoring tools helps support audit needs.
Integrations and compatibility
Omnissa DEM works with traditional PCs, virtual desktops and published apps across hybrid and cloud deployments. IdP integration and conditional access are handled through Omnissa Access and Horizon.
